ABOUT THE COURSE
The Fourth Way is a system of teachings based on the ideas of G. I. Gurdjieff. It forms a body of learning that, little by little, reveals to us the greatest of all secrets: self-knowledge.
In order to know ourselves, we must first study ourselves, and in order to study ourselves, a method is needed. The Sacred Dances, or Movements, are a fundamental tool in this process, as they make self-observation possible, using the body as an instrument.
In this course, we cover the complete learning of six Dances or Movements. The Movements are transmitted faithfully to their origins, as they were taught by Mr Gurdjieff and, in Argentina, by Carlos Matchelajovic and Daphne Ripman.
In the videos, we present not only the complete dance, but also a detailed breakdown of each posture, with explanations shown from different angles so that they can be seen more clearly.
Each module also includes an audio recording that presents a key idea or concept of the system of teachings, and serves as a starting point for deepening our exploration of self-observation.

OBJECTIVE
To bring the Teaching of Mr Gurdjieff within reach, mainly through the Movements, as a way of setting out on the path of self-knowledge.
REQUIREMENTS
The course is open to anyone who wishes to discover this Teaching or to deepen their knowledge of it. No previous experience is required, and there is no age limit.

ABOUT US
Based in Argentina, the Escuela de Danzas de Gurdjieff has been active since 2005, offering weekly meetings, Sacred Dance practice, retreats and seminars, both in Argentina and in neighbouring countries. Our activities, held in person and online, bring together participants from all over Latin America.
Under the guidance of Perla Hershtein and a team of instructors, we make use of the tools the Teaching offers us, such as self-observation and conscious effort.
Conscious life is the opposite of automatism. The Teaching calls us to live an ever more present life, animated by an attitude of search and discovery, light yet sober, inspired by the wish to be. A life worth living.

El curso es a distancia, asincrónico y 100% online.
El curso está compuesto por seis módulos y es autogestionado: cada participante explorará y asimilará el material provisto a su propio ritmo. El tiempo de acceso al curso es limitado, podrás acceder durante el período de seis meses desde el momento de pago, todas las veces que lo necesites, hasta finalizar el tiempo estipulado.
En cada módulo vamos a trabajar con un Movimiento o Danza distinto de forma completa, parte por parte para que puedas aprenderla. Vas a tener la posibilidad de ver los videos de cada módulo todas las veces que lo necesites. Además, vas a encontrar textos sobre los Movimientos y audios con los ejes principales de la Enseñanza de G. I. Gurdjieff.
El curso está a cargo de Perla Hershtein, quien dirige la Escuela de Danzas de Gurdjieff y por los Instructores de Movimientos, Lorena Ladino y Juan Pablo Panebianco.
El curso virtual se encuentra en idioma español.
